Energy Assistance: 2025 Season Draft Plan for Public Comment

APIA informs the public that the 2025 Energy Assistance Draft Plan (LIHEAP Model Plan) is available for public comment. Energy Assistance is funded by the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), a long-standing federal program.

The 2025 Energy Assistance Draft Plan can be found online at https://www.apiai.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/COMM_LIHEAP_AT2024-03_Model-Plan-Template_FY25_07262024.pdf or can be requested by email, fax, or mail by contacting Jacob Timmons at 907-222-9713 or jacobt@apiai.org .

Please submit any comments, questions, or concerns to Jacob Timmons, ETR Division Administrator, at jacobt@apiai.org. We will consider and respond to all comments. We are able to act on comments before submitting the plan on the deadline of 9/3/2024. We are able to act on comments in the form of a plan amendment between 9/3/2024 and the anticipated start of the season on 11/1/2024. Comments received on or after 11/1/2024 will be documented but action will not be taken until the following plan period.
