Employment Supportive Services

Based on individual need as well as financial situation and available funding; includes services and items needed to prepare clients for training and employment such as work or interview clothing, personal hygiene items, tools, equipment, licenses, testing and registration fees, union dues, transportation assistance, case assistance, counseling and referrals, and relocation for training, education or employment. Other support services may be provided based on need to achieve goals identified in an Individual Self-Sufficiency Plan (ISP).

Eligibility Requirements

Must demonstrate a need for assistance and meet low income guidelines.

Communities/Tribes Served

Provide a tribal card documenting membership in a federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native tribe AND be living in one of our 10 regional communities; OR

Provide tribal membership documentation as an enrolled tribal member of Akutan, Atka, Agdaagux, Belkofski, False Pass, Nikolski, Nelson Lagoon, Pauloff Harbor, St. George, Qawalangin, Unga and QTT and reside in any Alaskan community or U.S. city.
