Are you or someone you know an Unangax̂ who enjoys Native Crafting or being a Subsistence Provider?
Do you experience a medical and/or mental health condition that creates a barrier to your self-employment?
Your self-employment plan with the AANG program can be tailored to you.
Eligible individuals will develop a self-employment plan with us and can then receive supports such as:
- Tools and Supplies
- Crafting Materials
- Subsistence Supplies
- Computers and Internet
- Work Clothing
- Gas for Transportation
- Small Business Training
- Business Licensing Assistance
Eligibility
All Alaska Native/American Indians residing in Akutan, Atka, False Pass, King Cove, Nelson Lagoon, Nikolski, St. George, St. Paul, Sand Point, and Unalaska may be eligible.
Living in Anchorage?
Tribal members of Agdaagux, Akutan, Atka, Belkofski, False Pass, Nelson Lagoon, Nikolski, Pauloff Harbor, Qawalangin, Qagan Tayagungin, St. George, St. Paul, and Unga may also be eligible.
