For Children, Youth & Young Adults

APIA serves children, youth and young adults in need of mental health support due to behavioral challenges, family difficulties and substance use.

APIA provides:

  • Assessment and evaluation
  • Individual counseling
  • Family counseling
  • Case management and family support
  • Support activities for youth transitioning to young adulthood
  • Services for youth who are uninsured or underinsured

 

For Young Adults 18-25

APIA offers Awakuxtxin, which is an intensive outpatient and substance use program to help young adults and their families address substance use and begin recovery.  This 12-week intensive outpatient program features:

  • Decision making skills
  • Relapse management
  • Family counseling
  • Recovery coaching
  • Cultural groups and activities
