Assistance Meeting Essential Needs

Individuals who are not receiving Public Assistance payments and who are unable to meet their basic essential needs of food, clothing, and shelter can apply. The individual must also apply for Public Assistance at the time they apply for this program. Payments are calculated under TANF standards.  An Employment Plan is developed by the individual and the Case Manager, outlining the steps the individual will take to increase independence by meeting the goal of employment.   

Requirements

• Enrolled Tribal Member (Akutan, Atka, Agdaagux, Belkofski, False Pass, Nikolski, Nelson Lagoon, Pauloff Harbor, St. George, Qawalangin, Unga, QTT)
• Live in AK
• Please fill out the general ETR-application for all ETR services (which include…scholarships, burial, energy…)
