The Department of Family & Community Development (DFCD) provides a variety of programs to the Aleut Region. Our services are divided into four major program areas: Community Environment and Safety, Community Health, Community Development, and Community Outreach. Through our programs we provide technical, coordination, research, training, and advocacy assistance to help improve the quality of life in our communities.
APIA operates a consolidated 477 Program authorized under Public Law 102-477 or the Education, Employment, Training and Related Services Demonstration Act of 1992.

- Child Care Assistance
- Employment Supportive Services
- General Assistance
- Low-Income Heating Assistance (LIHEAP)
- Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation (TVR)
- Youth Services
