Energy Assistance: 2026 Anticipated Start Date

APIA informs the public that the anticipated start date for the 2026 Energy Assistance Season is November 15, 2025. Due to the Government shutdown, Energy Assistance funding may be delayed. We will not be able to process awards until federal funding is received.

Applications received will be reviewed as early as November 3, 2025 in preparation for Energy Assistance funding being received.
