Travel Coordinator/Accountant
Full -time (37.5 hours per week) Rate of Pay: $22.42 – $29.25/hr + Benefits   Location: Anchorage, AK

Duties: This position arranges and accounts for all travel for the Association’s Board of Directors, employees, clients and consultants.  Employee will make travel reservations, track travel usage, process per diem and perform reconciliations after travel is completed. This includes opening purchase orders, tracking and accounting for purchases made on corporate credit cards, preparing check requests and preparing applicable entries to record transactions in the accounting system.  Employee will work with other Travel Coordinators and Accounting Staff to ensure that proper travel policies are followed. This position will also assist the accounting department with other duties and projects as necessary, which may include, but are not limited to: filing accounting records, data entry and other clerical assignments.

Qualifications: Requirement include a high school diploma with secondary education desired.  Must have a stable job history of at least two years’ experience working in accounting or a travel agency.  Education may be substituted for experience requirements.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to use those skills interpersonally.  Must possess strong clerical skills and excellent organizational skills.  Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.  Must have the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  If you meet the above qualifications and are dependable, mature and willing to show up with a positive outlook and cooperate with others, please apply today.
