On-Call (10 hours per week) Rate of Pay: $15.04 – $16.43 DOE   Location: Sand Point, AK

Duties: Responsible for general janitorial, maintenance duties and some repairs. Will ensure that classroom and playground areas are maintained, safe and sanitary. Will complete Environmental Health Checklist duties and submit on a regular basis to the central office for compliance. These duties may include daily cleaning of bathroom facility, vacuuming, emptying trash, snow removal, checking fire and carbon monoxide detectors, etc. Other requirements may include supply ordering and maintaining appropriate documentation.

Qualifications: At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma/GED preferred; reading, writing, and math skills to complete Head Start and State required paperwork. General janitorial/maintenance skills. Pre-Employment requirements: Upon date of hire, must provide documentation of current TB test and Hepatitis screening/vaccination status; pre-employment physical examination; criminal history background clearance; valid Alaska Driver’s License
