Head Start Bus Driver
(25 – 35 hours per week) Rate of Pay: $16.71 – $18.27/hr DOE Location: Unalaska, Alaska
Duties: Provide bus driving services for the Head Start program. Maintain documentation of bus safety, maintenance, and sanitation.
Qualifications: At least 19 years of age with a high school diploma/GED; hold a valid CDL with a school bus permit. Must have a clean driving record. Be physically/mentally able to work with young children and their families. Upon date of hire, must provide documentation of current TB test Hepatitis screening/vaccination status; pre-employment physical examination; criminal history background clearance and clean driving record, and be willing to obtain a CPR and First Aid Certification. Must have a current CDL license with a school bus permit or be willing to obtain certification before driving a Head Start bus.
